Photo Restoration

We have recently undertaken several projects which involved the use of old and damaged photographs.  An example is the Finbees Coffee Shop in Bray, Co. Wicklow.  Here you can see how two old photographs have been joined together to create the panoramic wall mural behind the counter.  The images have been colour enhanced and the effect is an enchanting reminder of a bygone age. 

Other examples are the family group and the wedding photograph.  Whilst the black and white original is in keeping with the post war era, it is lovely to see the photographs take on a whole new life with the addition of colour.  If you look closely, you will be amazed at the amount of background detail. 

If your old photographs are damaged or have faded due to age, we can restore them as their original monochrome image or use colour enhancement to bring new life and vibrancy to the image.  The photographs can then be reproduced for framed or canvas prints.  The end result will depend on the quality of the photograph and the finished size will depend on the size of the original.
